These compact adapters convert a standard AR-based buffer tube thread to a small Picatinny (1913) rail, allowing the user to attach and brace or stock designed for Picatinny mounting.

Works with Sig MCX, Brownells BRN-180 uppers, Sig P556 pistols and Kriss Vector pistols as well as many others.
*Does not work with standard AR-15 recoil system.

I purchased this to adapt a Benjamin Marauded PCP pistol to a picatinny rail option stock. This adapter fit into a buffer tube socket adapter currently offered for sale on eBay from Germany. Their socket adapter has an allen bolt for retention; i bored a hole through the center of the A3 adapter plug to provide room for the allen head bolt, then used blue threadlocker to secure the A3 adapter in the Marauder adapter socket. This adapter helped me build a military spec buffer tube stock complete with a Magpul stock. Quality, quality, quality part!

Fits great
Build quality seems great. I had no issue fitting it to the Sharps Bros AK47 receiver. There was a hiccup with the adapter as it was mislabeled and contained the wrong part when I received it. A3 immediately sent out the correct part and a prepaid return label and I had the correct part soon after.
Mounted in the buffer tower without issue and seems to be rock solid and my 1913 stock doesn't seem to twist.
This part is rock solid. No play at all on my kriss vector.

Needs to be adjustable or threaded part longer with a castle nut. Only thing that holds it in place are 2 set screws because when completely tight it’s not lined up correctly. I just ordered a much better designed one from spike industries
