Product Description
The new ALM Adjustable Length Modular Folding Braces are packed full of features. Available in straight or offset configurations, both variants have 5 length settings, a cheek riser with adjustable height and adjustable mounting positions, and a Quick-disconnect (QD) sling mounting socket - all standard when you buy the ALM folding brace.
Machined from 6061 aluminum, the ALM is very sturdy, with cogged connections at each adjustment point. This ensures a very rigid, rattle-free connection at any position.

Hinge can mount to fold left or right and has rapid-deploy feature

Extension arms: Choice of straight or offset extension arms. Both arms can be length adjusted from 6-1/8"-9-1/2" in length to accommodate just about any length-of-pull requirement. Offset arms can be configured multiple ways to provide more or less cheek riser height, position the brace higher or lower, or to clear items such as ejection ports or selector access when folded.
Sure-Lok 1913 Folding Hinge - Patent Pending
The Sure-Lok™ Folding Hinge features 17-4 stainless steel MIM construction with a QPQ finish for strength, wear resistance, and corrosion protection. A push-button release allows controlled folding, while the quick-deploy design lets the stock snap into the deployed position with a firm pull, no extra steps required. Its compact, low-profile design mounts securely to any 1913 Picatinny rail using two cross-bolts for maximum rigidity, or a single centered cross-bolt when space is limited, delivering fast operation, durability, and repeatable performance.
Cheek Riser: XENO modular cheek riser included. 3-height adjustments via cheek riser pad and 1/4" spacers. Heights of 7/8", 1-1/8", and 1-3/8" to work with just about any optic height. Can mount riser to either side of extension arm, in 3 different horizontal mounting positions. Additionally, the riser has an offset mount, so it can be flipped around to fine tune the position even further.
3 brace end options available: Polymer Steady-brace, Aluminum Steady-brace w/mounting interface, or Tailhook adapter for use with Gearhead Works Tailhooks.
VIS Quick-disconnect (QD) socket: An optional steel QD socket is available if needed. These can mount to any of the adjustment holes on the side of the extension.
Love it but have my critiques after using it for some time. The 1913 connection is solid but uses small, easy-to-lose parts. The hinge is not comfortable to operate in a right-hand folder configuration, ymmv. (Both issues seem resolved with the new Sure Lok hinge. ) The modularity provides a wide range of mounting orientations but consistent allen key sizes would also be an improvement. Overall, A3 makes great stuff and I would recommend this.
The brace itself is very nice and has positive and desirable adjustability. The offset is definitely recommended for taller/longer shooters. The brace mount has a small footprint giving it some adjustability in mounting height (at least for the picatinny mount adapters). My only complaint is that it does have a small wobble in it because of the hinge design. It isn’t a huge deal, it’s a small amount but it is present. The stribog adapter is my bigger problem, the adapter itself is not a great fit and easily doubles the amount of wobble in the brace. I would not recommend the adapter for the stribog, it will mount to the stock back plate on the stribog just fine, and have better fitment.
This is an awesome option. I'm a tall guy with long arms so having adjustability is great. Workmanship and quality is very good. The hinge is very solid but a little stiff at first. After several cycles open / closed, it was much easier to close. Hinge also can be used in both directions. Cheek pad option is highly recommended.
I worked on weapons and components as a machinist, the craftsmanship, quality of materials and durability is in every piece of equipment I purchase from A3 , functions perfectly and the esthetic’s of said components make your weapon look and function completely, amazing , the looks I get at the range , everyone wants to know where I purchased my add ons . Good product fast shipping as described
I had to reach out to the customer when the order status never changed beyond processing. They stated the product was delayed because they identified a defect prior to shipping. Once the product finally came it was still defective (no idea if it was the same defective that caused the delay). The latch on the folding mechanism does not lock into place. Even slight pressure causes the latch to release. I have emailed the tech department, response pending.
I love the feel of this stock, it's very sturdy. I also love the ability to customize.

This is a solid brace with the nice feature of being able to adjust your length of pull. It’s as sturdy and well engineered as their other braces, with added functionality. I have no complaints, it feels and functions great. Good job A3!
Everything about this brace is rad! I was looking at their non-adjustable braces for my AP5 but I didn't know what length to get, then I saw this adjustable one. The thumb screws are a nice touch and made adjusting the length easy. I'll be getting another one for my Stribog!
