Apex 1913 Folding Hinge

It's a perfect fit for my IWI Galil and Sig MPX. It's solid and the feel when folded is better than the Sig.

This thing is slick! Replaced an SBA3 brace that just looked clunky and didn’t match the Vectors design. This thing is solid, looks great, and locks up tight when extended. I love it!

Removing a star though because both items i recieved were already visibly blemished (metal showing through the anodizing in spots) out of the box. And considering A3's return policy, I feel like it would be disingenuous to not to mention it.

"Additionally, if the part has been installed or the product has any cosmetic blemishes preventing it from being sold as a new product, there is a $20 fee per component for that product. This covers stripping and re-anodizing the component."

I purchased a folding stock for my BRN-180 build and quickly overtorqued the two little bolts resulting in a ruined hinge. I felt sick. Ordered a replacement hinge and to my relief it is of a much more robust design. Overall very pleased with the setup, just wish the original hinge was like the replacement. Hinge locks up tight and solid. Smooth opening and closing.

I can’t wait to add more A3 braces to replace my annoying sb tactical braces.

I'm in the process of upgrading all my hinges to this. I like it a lot better than the old push button style

You get what you pay for. Solid part I own 3.

Easy to install and you can tell it’s durable. It has a little wobble, but nothing that some goon tape couldn’t fix. Great product overall.

I had purchased a 1913 hinge previously from A3, but apparently they discontinued the original model(sig style)which was much much better quality and mounting than this one.

Haven’t had any practical use yet, but the quality seems very good. The hinge is easy to manipulate. The surface finish is very well done. Mounting is very sturdy, even without a cross bolt.

This review is for both the product and the company behind it. The hinge is exceptionally sturdy—it holds firmly in place, doesn’t wobble, and provides a reassuringly solid feel. It requires just the right amount of pressure to close. I also have to commend the company’s customer service. They were incredibly responsive, answering all my questions promptly, and went above and beyond when I needed additional parts to make adjustments to the build. Excellent experience all around!

It works well. I wish it was more of a clamp style than one with just set screws, mainly for strength. But it has held up fine and set screw have held well.

Bent all to hell after one drop. Hinge will not engage, bowed out, disappointing for the money spent on it. I’m trying to be fair with 3 stars but really it should be less.

A3 tactical Hinges and Braces for my project works out so well. This hinges and Brace are top quality. Me and my friends we buy ours from A3 tactical to complete our build. They are the best you can buy

Ordered the steel picatinny 1913 hinge not the 2 bolt hinges. The order was wrong twice if you can't give me the correct one I want a full refund back for the inconvenience. Sending back both orders of the 2 bolt hinges. Once again the incorrect orders.

Excellent Product !

Got the A3T Picatinny. Folds great and smooth movement. It does have some slop tho. Not unusable, but not as clean as a lockup that I would expect for the $$. Should have spent the extra cash on the Sig hinge.

Love it. It works very well. I upgraded to the Sig from the A3T picatinny. I believe the Sig hinge just works better, plus it operates even with pressure on it compared to the A3T.

Added this hinge to my BRN180 lower and it has been working great! Lock up both open and closed is solid.

Having purchased from A3 before, I already understood the craftsmanship of their products. And this purchase was no exception. I couldn't more pleased! A3 Rules!!!
