Worked perfectly on my Glock 17 Gen 5 contrary to the description! Highly recommend this instead of getting a tax stamp. Very stable.

The arm is aluminum and high quality. The brace is polymer and also high quality. Fit and finish is excellent. Highly recommended.

One, no instructions were provided with the brace. I emailed A3 on 12/08/2025, and ,as of 12/21/2025, I’ve still received no reply.

The brace is…okay. The hinge is sloppy and appears to have poor tolerance controls. I realize the brace has to move downwards to disengage from the USW-G body; however, my A3 brace simply falls open just from gravity. It will not stay closed and I’m now looking to have to make shims from ptfe or Garolite so the brace will actually stay closed. It effectively means the USW must always have the brace extended or it’s just flopping around.

Not worth the price at all. You get a partially thought out brace to avoid having to file for an SBR I suppose. Would be 5 stars for $50.

Not compatible with Gen 5 Glocks without questionable modification to the slide stop, as the right side of the slide stop blocks the integrated latch which keeps the stock folded. Cannot fire reliably with brace closed (slide wont lock back).
If I have known this, I would not have purchased a Gen 5 Glock for this build, disappointing.

Thing is built like a tank. Even polymer brace is tough as nails. Has a nifty hook that clips into the uswg frame, securing it when folded. There is enough room to get your finger between the folded brace and the trigger easily and without interference. It was designed properly.

Ignore the guy who says otherwise. He never bought it or saw one in person apparently.

I had concerns about ordering this item for my USW-G20 due to a particular review which implied that you couldn’t fire the weapon when the brace was folded forward. The photos on A3’s site seemed to confirm this as the rear/vertical portion of the brace appears to cross the trigger area while folded. I’m happy to report, however, that because the rear/verical portion of the brace curves outwards, you CAN fire the USW while the brace is folded inward. You’ll have to use the second pad on your index finger unless you have small hands/short fingers, but you can absolutely fire your USW when this brace is folded. I put 300 rounds through my USW this morning, and about a hundred of those were sent downrange while the brace was folded.

Overall the quality is extremely high, and the installation took about 30 seconds. This is a fantastic solution for anybody looking to avoid having to SBR their USW-G. I highly recommend.

good concept, but gonna pass since it looks like the brace interferes with shooting undeployed. That's a deal breaker for me.

If you have a G20, it will fit. You just need to do some minor mod work on the arm catch. It’s about a 1/16” fat to be able to engage. No big deal! I have one on my G19 and G20
