Introducing the Steady-Brace Modular Pistol Stabilizer. The SteadyBrace provides pistol stabilization in a sleek and sturdy platform at an affordable price point. Designed to work with our professional line of Modular Folders, the overall design is smooth and snag-free resulting in a comfortable stabilizing interface for the forearm.
Our standard 2-bolt design mounts to the A3 Industries 2-bolt interface common to all of our Modular stocks and braces. Manufactured from injection-molded Fiber-reinforced Zytel Polymer, there is no flexible rubber, just a rugged forearm cradle designed to last (Velcro strap supplied). Utilizing two #10 screws and a positive socket retention the SteadyBrace mounts securely to your A3 Industries folder. The slim, compact design provides plenty of clearance on a variety of host applications while keeping weight to a minimum.

Which one do I choose? See pros and cons of each below -
POLYMER:
PROS: If you want the lightest option, or the slimmest option, choose the Polymer version. Despite being lighter, these are still extremely strong due to the fiber reinforcement and dense Zytel polymer.
CONS: Only compatible with A3 Industries modular 2-bolt interface, will not fit a buffer tube style mount. Strong, but not as strong as the aluminumm version. Only available in right-hand configuraton.
ALUMINUM:
PROS: Strongest option of the two. Can be mounted for Right-hand or Left-hand configurations. Can mount to any A3 Industries interface OR an AR buffer tube, or any buffer tube style mount from other manufacturers.
CONS: Heavier than the polymer brace. Bulkier than the polymer brace.

I was hesitant to order this brace because it is made of polymer, and I thought it might be too long.
When it arrived I was pleasantly surprised and how thick and sturdy the brace is, and the length turned out to be just right for my needs.
I’m not sure how useful my review will be as I needed the brace for a do-it-yourself project.
I wanted to turn an Airsoft stock for a MP5K into a brace.
I did cut the front off of the socket portion of the brace, and I had to do some cutting on the Airsoft stock as well.
I ended up with a brace that was not cheap, but none of the braces are.
This allows me to use my MP5K clone as a travel gun without having to jump through SBR hoops.
I’m very pleased with the Steady Brace, and how the project turned out.
This brace is very nice and solid! Easy to install. Can’t wait for the new HDA3 brace to come out!

Worth every penny..... got one of these while they're still offered... I think this truly is the nicest [style] brace on the market (comfortable too)... someone mentioned it could be smaller, I respectfully disagree. Used it in conjuction with the 6.25" extension.

Lightweight, compact and comfortable for a brace on a gun (with no recoil fwiw)
$50 is steep for injection molded plastic. If used with one of their CNC braces arms be aware that the chamfering on the brace arms is not impressive either for the price. They only chamfered the outside and left sharp edges on the inside. Considering these things are made using cnc/cad it seems like a pretty massive oversight/lazy.
If price matched the quality/build material I would give the product 4 stars.
These were aluminum and would go with the arm perfect, then they got cheap and made them out of plastic. It works but probably cost a couple dollars at the most, not the insane price they charge for it. Worth it? I would not buy again, since i Had the arm I had no choice seeing they discontinued the metal one yet still had it online and didnt tell anyone they secretly shipped the plastic one instead. Or the metal replacement one is a ginormous round plastic adapter. . . . people buy stuff like this to avoid plastic yet they deleted that option.

In today’s age of hyperinflation, spending money is tough…. Always felt brands like A3 offered value for the money spent…. $50 and they couldn’t even be bothered to include screws:laughing:…. . I hope this review helps… seems like A3 needs the business. Wish I could find a Chinese manufacturer who makes braces…. they know how to put together a complete product for a reasonable price:shrug::skin-tone-3:
50 bucks for this piece of plastic is just too much. The aluminum should be 50, this one 30 at most.
You guys take advantage because there's not many options out there.
You know damn well, this should not be this expensive.
Know that of the 3 main brands, A3 ranks the lowest and that's mainly to your overpricing.
Maybe a better bang for your buck would make your brand top tier.

I love the idea of this brace, it would make a lot of sense if you offered it in a reverse position option for left handed users.
Dont fold any other way, go with A3, and call it a day.

If the Gear Head Works Mod 1c didn’t exist this would be the best. It would be better if it was shorter. It’s in my parts bin as back up.
