If you are looking for a place to attach your 2-point QD sling to the front of your Stribog and don't want to use the side M-LOK slots or Picatinny rails, this QD mount is the answer. These Stribog-specific mounts simply pop into the angled slots on the side of your Stribog and attach in seconds with a single screw and custom threaded back plate.
The mounting base and back plates are machined from 6061 aluminum. Our QD sockets are machined from steel. Many companies machine their sockets from aluminum but QD lugs use hardened steel ball bearings for the detents. These have a tendency to wear out the retention grooves in aluminum QD sockets, often resulting in a QD lug that pops out when you don't want it to. This is why all of our QD sockets are machined from steel.

Honestly just buy an mlok qd attachment, this thing is gimmicky when you can just use up a little of the rail for much less of a hassle.

Does what it says but a little bit high profile

It works perfectly as advertised but It simply sticks out a bit further than it needs to and it’s a bit annoying in that regard. Wish they made a lower profile version in the future or if it was possible to sink the mount into the hole at all.

Great product but overpriced

I love the forward thinking design, keeping all the M-Lok slots still available, though the price seems a bit much. I would think this should be around the $25-30 mark. Quick note, the QD mount Can interfere slightly with using the charging handle if not careful. You have to be conscious of this and fully wrap your finger around it to not hit the QD mount on the way back. Though once learned it is easy to repeat.

Thank you for your review. Honestly, our target price was originally $29.95 but with 3 different machined components, plating, and hardware, it just wasn't possible. Also, for charging handle clearance, while it does clear the handle, most choose to either move the QD to the opposite side of the gun, or move the charging handle to the opposite side.
