The A3 Industries KICK-STAND rear MONOpod is a great solution for shooting prone or bench shooting pistols, carbines and rifles. By providing a rear contact point to work in conjunction with a front bipod, the firearm is completely self-supported and secure. With the versatility of our Modular folding arm, coupled with the adjustability of the KICK-STAND, the user can setup the firearm for hands-free targeting. This is great for zeroing in optics and sport shooting at the range. It's also a great solution for shooters who lack the arm strength to hold a firearm but still wish to engage in sport shooting targets.
When configured with our Modular folding mechanism, the MONOpod can fold out of the way for storage. It can fold to the right or the left and, in most configurations, the firearm can still be operated and fired while in the folded position.

BUILD YOUR KICK-STAND:
Please read over the information below to understand the available options. The KICK-STAND can be purchased as the MONOpod by itself, if you already have one of our Modular Folders, or as a complete folding solution. Simply pick and choose the options you prefer. All KICK-STANDS ship standard with a rubber base. If you prefer the 4140 steel spike, please add that in the options above.
| APEX Leverage hinge: This is a HD steel hinge that uses a tensioned release to fold. Similar to most tensioned hinges, the user lifts the stock/brace to release the latch and fold. In the folded position the hinge has a tensioned detent that holds it folded. The user can simply pull the brace for deployment. |  |
| M-LOK FEATURES: All extension arms incorporate M-LOK slots along the full length of the arm. This allows the user to mount a QD (Quick-disconnect) sling mount anywhere on the extension, or any other M-LOK accessory such as our XENO Modular cheek riser. |  |
| CHEEK RESTS: The Xeno Modular Cheek Rest has three heights - 5/8", 7/8", or 1-1/8". The XENO mounts via M-LOK and also has an offset that allows the cheek rest to be positioned 1" offset of the mount, if necessary. The XENO is machined from aluminum with injection-molded Polymer spacers and cheek rest. |  |
| MONOPOD: The MONOpod is constructed of 7075 aluminum and hard coat anodized for superior scratch resistance. The large 3/4" threads allow up to 2" height adjustability, using a knurled surface and jam collar. The MONOpod ships with a standard rubber multi-use pad but a 4140 steel spike is also available for wood, clay, or other surfaces that may benefit from a more rooted surface connection. |
